Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village is in Nantou County, Yu-Chi Jin, surrounded by the symbolic Sun Moon Lake of Taiwan. It is a cultural village themed around the nine major ethnic groups living in Taichung. The village is divided according to each ethnic group, and places have been set up to recreate their lifestyles.

When you visit the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, you first notice the cable car. The cable car connects the Ida Xiao Visitor Center and the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. It’s composed of red, yellow, blue, and green colors, each representing the sun, moon, lake, and forest. One of the must-see sites inside the theme park is the view from the Lerweitan cable car. It is known to be one of Asia’s most beautiful cable cars.

When you get in the cable car, you can take in the entire Sun Moon Lake instantly. There are regular cable cars and crystal cable cars with transparent floors. You can see the thrilling view of the mountains and lakes beneath your feet. The cable car goes up to an altitude of 3,425 feet.

You can feel the cool breeze blowing gently through the windows and ride just the cable car without visiting the theme park.

At the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, you can enjoy various attractions. These include the Spanish Coast Skyline, UFO, Wild Raft Ride, and Gold Mine Adventure. You can also ride everything from Viking ships to roller coasters and flume rides.

In particular, the “Spanish Coast” is a ride you can enjoy inside the water park. With water slides, wave pools, and other refreshing attractions, it attracts more visitors in the summer.
