A female student whom her male friends tease for being short and unattractive revealed an incident that occurred during an argument with her father, who only favors her younger sister. The student expressed her frustration, questioning why she should be discriminated against by her parents when she was already born unattractive. She demanded that her father arrange for her to have plastic surgery, saying it was unfair. In response, her father advised her to study hard, using her unattractive appearance as motivation. He told her that no one would ignore her if she became a professional at something. Angered by his response, the student retorted, “Dad, you are unattractive and not a professional.” As a result, she was slapped. This is a recent story that was shared on Nate On.

The author stated that she was born with a “cursed appearance.” She has small, monolid eyes, a short and wide nose, and a large face… Due to her appearance, she was teased by her male friends, who called her names such as “bread man,” “rice cake,” “male,” “dog poop,” and “comedian.” She does not desire to be pretty but wishes to avoid being ridiculed for her appearance.

Let’s set aside her face. She has a body type that quickly gains weight and is only 149cm tall. Compared to her peers, her calves are very short. Her skin tone is dark and gray.

“Even my hands are ugly. My fingers are short and chubby. When I applied lip balm with my hands, boys said it looked like a pig’s trotters. By this point, I should at least have pretty hair. If my eyebrows were long and thick, or my hair was thick… But everything is thin and sparse. The only advantage of my appearance is that I have less body hair. That’s the only thing about my appearance that is average.”

The author stated that she resembles her father.

“My dad is slightly unattractive, and my mom is average. But I was born with only the disadvantages of her appearance. However, I am even uglier than my dad. My younger sister has a high nose, big eyes, and a slim figure. Although neither my mom nor dad resembles her, she inherited good looks from our relatives. So I feel even more frustrated.”

The author mentioned that her father discriminates against her and her younger sister. She said that her father always favors her sister. He only posts pictures of her sister on social media and only buys gifts for her. She said he found it bothersome when she was younger and asked her father to play with them. However, he would approach her sister first and ask her to play with him. The author expressed her sadness about this discrimination by her father.

Recently, the author expressed all of her frustrations to her father. Her father responded, “Is it my fault that your sister was born prettier than you? It’s natural for parents to be more drawn to their beautiful children. You should be grateful for all the money and care I’ve given you.”

The author said, “It’s unfair that I don’t have the choice to change my appearance, and it’s even more frustrating to be discriminated against by my parents. I asked for double eyelid surgery and a nose job.”

Her father responded, “I spent money to provide you with an education, and now you’re causing a fuss about getting plastic surgery. Even if you get plastic surgery, it won’t make much difference. Instead, you should use your appearance as motivation to study. If you become a professional, no one will ignore you.”

Already frustrated, the author exploded and blamed her father for her unattractive appearance. They disliked her unattractive father and argued, “Dad, what can I do if I’m unattractive and not a professional!” In response, her father slapped her and told her to leave the house.

Upon reading this story, many internet users sympathized with the author. They commented, “You have suffered abuse,” “Even hedgehogs think their babies are beautiful,” “I hope you can fix everything when you become an adult and make money,” “Parents should build their children’s self-esteem, but instead, they are lowering it. That’s the biggest problem,” “I have never seen parents discriminate against their child for being unattractive,” and more.
