The United States and South Korea have agreed to hold the first meeting of the Next Generation Core and Emerging Technology Dialogue.

On the 9th, Jo Tae-yong, Chief of the National Security Office, held a security wire consultation with Jake Sullivan, the U.S. National Security Advisor, and agreed to push for the first meeting of the U.S.-Korea Next Generation Core and Emerging Technology Dialogue. This dialogue was agreed upon during the U.S.-Korea summit in April between President Yoon Suk Yeol and President Joe Biden.

Also, the Camp David agreement in August decided to push for the tripartite meeting of the National Security Chiefs of the U.S., Korea, and Japan within this year.
