Kim Jong Un Upgrades His Ride to a Ford for His Crew

It is suspected to be the most recent model of the Ford Transit.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has reportedly switched not only his personal vehicle but also the vehicles of his entourage, sparking discussion.

As per an SBS report, the altered vehicles came into view during Kim Jong Un’s visit to the Air Force headquarters on the 30th. In the background, two black vans resembling the latest Ford Transit models were spotted.

In contrast to the vehicles photographed in August, these seem distinct, suggesting that they have been recently substituted or replaced.

The Ford Transit van, which is believed to be utilized by the entourage, comes with a price range of $59,800 to $108,800, depending on the specifications. It offers a variety of trims and models to choose from, suitable for 8 to 15 passengers, and ensures a comfortable ride for many people.

Furthermore, it has standard features, including cruise control, a lane departure warning system, a rear detection sensor, a rear camera, and an auxiliary footstep. It also has side curtain airbags in the rear seats, ensuring the driver’s and passengers’ safety.

Meanwhile, the North Korea Sanctions Resolution 2094 prohibits the supply of luxury cars, which are regarded as luxury goods, to North Korea. The Ministry of Unification announced that it would meticulously trace the route in cooperation with related agencies.
