Christmas Horror: 20-Year-Old Son Stabs His Father to Death

A son who fatally stabbed his father has been arrested by the police.

The Suncheon Police Station in South Jeolla Province announced on the 26th that they are investigating a man in his 20s identified as Mr. A under suspicion of murder.

Mr. A is accused of killing his father identified as Mr. B in his 50s by wielding a weapon at their apartment in Suncheon City around 8:30 pm on Christmas the 25th.

After the crime, Mr. A was arrested by the police following a report from a resident who saw him wandering around the apartment complex.

It was reported that Mr. A had been receiving psychiatric treatment.

A police official said, “We are applying for a warrant to arrest Mr. A while investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.”

Earlier, a college student identified as Mr. C was accused of stabbing and killing his mother Ms. D in her 50s at their home in Yeongdeungpo District Seoul, around 2:40 am on August 3rd.

A family member who was at home at the time reported the incident to the fire department around 2:50 am. The police then arrived at the scene and arrested Mr. C who was intoxicated on the spot.

In the police investigation, Mr. C has admitted to all charges. On the day of the crime, it was determined that he brandished a weapon after reprimanding his mother, Mrs. D, for returning home late after drinking.

Immediately after the incident, the victim was transported to the hospital but died shortly after. It was reported that Mr. C was intoxicated at the time of his arrest.

Mr. C had been hit several times with objects like a broomstick by his mother and it was confirmed that he killed his mother in the process of protecting himself.
