North Korea’s Path to Prosperity: ’20X10 Regional Development’ Revealed

North Korea has encouraged loyalty to Kim Jong Un by sharing the reactions of residents from various cities and counties to the 20X10 Regional Development Policy” decided at the expanded meeting of the Party’s Political Bureau.

The Rodong Sinmun reported on the 31st that a resident of Kim Hyung-jik County in Ryanggang Province expressed gratitude to Kim Jong Un, saying, “It’s like a dream that strange local industry factories have sprung up in our mountainous county thanks to Kim’s grace.”

An employee of the Usi County Food Factory in Jagang Province said, “Local industry factories have sprung up in the mountainous counties of the northern border thanks to the Kim’s noble people’s policy,” adding, “Our county will become the best living county in the world.”

The newspaper also conveyed the reactions from residents in various regions, including Kyongsong County in North Hamgyong Province, encouraging internal cohesion by highlighting Kim Jong Un’s people-loving spirit.

Kim Jong Un announced through his policy speech at the 10th session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly on the 15th that the 20X10 Regional Development Policy will build local industry factories in 20 counties each year for the next decade, and this was decided at the expanded meeting of the Party’s Political Bureau.
