All members of Stray Kids attend the Met Gala as Tommy Hilfiger global ambassadors

Stray Kids, the global ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger, made history as the first K-pop group to have all its members attend the Met Gala, the biggest fashion event in the U.S.

The Stray Kids were invited to the 2024 Met Gala, which took place on May 6th at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

Their dazzling presence at their Met Gala debut as the first K-pop artists to attend as a whole group was genuinely significant.

Along with Stray Kids, the gala this year was graced by the likes of BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, Chris Hemsworth, and Kendall Jenner.

The eight members, Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, made their appearance in outfits that matched the Garden of Time dress code of the 2024 Met Gala, featuring the signature red, white, and blue color palette of the Tommy Hilfiger brand.

As global ambassadors for Tommy Hilfiger, they drew significant attention from the fashion industry.

The members posed with dignified looks on the red carpet, adorned with greenery, and performed by taking off their custom-made Tommy Hilfiger overcoats, adding to the glamour of the Met Gala night.

Unfortunately, recent posts on online communities have raised suspicions that Stray Kids were subjected to racial discrimination at the Met Gala, with some paparazzi allegedly making rude and discriminatory comments such as “They look like robots” and “Arigato” that other attendees were not subjected to.
