Don’t Ignore That Sudden Headache – It Might Be More Serious Than You Think

You shouldn’t take it lightly if you wake up in the morning and immediately feel a throbbing headache as you head to work.

A brain and nervous system disease specialist sounded an alarm about headaches that should be taken seriously.

According to the online media outlet Sanook, the doctor posted a video warning about headaches on his social media.

In the video, the doctor said, “I met a male patient in his 50s yesterday. He spoke well, and everything seemed normal, but I had a hunch about a certain disease.”

According to the doctor, the man in his 50s visited the hospital after experiencing a headache while cutting a tree last week.

At the time of examination, the man was found to be bending his neck, and upon further investigation, it turned out that he couldn’t lift his neck.

A ruptured brain aneurysm was strongly suspected, and the man was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage through further tests.

The doctor warned, “The headache I’m alerting you about is an unusual pain different from the norm. A sudden headache that occurs abruptly or doesn’t go away should be taken seriously.”

He also added, “If you have a stiff symptom where you can’t bend your neck, you should be wary of a subarachnoid hemorrhage caused by a ruptured brain aneurysm.”

If a brain aneurysm ruptures, it can be accompanied by severe headaches, vomiting, hemiplegia, and language disorders.
