Before-and-After Snap of Man’s Facial Surgery in Turkey Shocks the Internet – Here’s Why!

A plastic surgery clinic in Istanbul, Turkey, has been making waves on social media by posting astonishing before-and-after photos that even experts find hard to believe.

The clinic recently uploaded before-and-after photos of a patient named Michael on their social media, which quickly went viral.

The man in the photos looked at least 20 years younger, with all his wrinkles gone and his hair appearing fuller. The clinic noted that Michael had undergone facial, neck, lower eyelid, upper eyelid, nose surgeries, lateral fat removal, and hair transplantation.

The clinic uploaded dozens of similar before-and-after images, leading many viewers online to question, “Did they put him in a time machine?” Many others commented, “I’m booking my flight now,” and “What on earth is happening in Turkey?”

Plastic surgeons who saw these photos claimed that the transformation is so extreme that it seems like it’s been photoshopped or altered in some other way.

Dr. Nigel Mercer, a plastic surgeon from the UK, argued that it’s impossible. He said, “From the photo of Michael before, you can guess his age, and whether he smokes based on his skin texture, but in the photo after, he appears to have the skin of a 35-year-old.”

He continued, “His eyebrows and face shape are completely different before and after. You can’t achieve that with surgery.”

Miss Dilek, another patient, transformed from an older woman to a woman with a young and beautiful appearance. London-based NHS plastics surgeon Mark Mikhail said, “Even in a dystopian world where it was possible to do this [with surgery], they would have had to do more operations than they claim to have done.”

He likened the dramatic transformation to the 1997 thriller Face Off, noting that the flawless skin, changes in eye color, and absence of scars are significant indicators that the images have been heavily photoshopped.

The clinic has not responded to these controversies. However, if these were false advertisements, patients who visited the clinic based on these ads could be harmed, so caution is advised.
