How to easily remove bad odors from inside rubber gloves with flour

So, Homemaker Brother has prepared a solution. Today, I’ll show you how to remove the smell from inside the rubber gloves. The smell can easily occur in the summer due to increased humidity, but if you manage it well in the winter, you should be able to control the smell quickly.

Materials needed: Rubber gloves, hand soap

Everyone has hand soap at home, right? Especially these days, with the COVID-19 pandemic, washing hands has become even more important. The materials are simple, and so is the odor removal method!

STEP 1. Spray hand soap inside the rubber gloves

Put 2-3 pumps of hand soap inside the rubber gloves that are full of smell and bacteria! The type of hand soap doesn’t matter.

STEP 2. Fill the rubber gloves halfway with water

Fill the rubber gloves halfway with water so that bubbles can form. Before shaking the gloves, make sure the water doesn’t spill out~ Tie the opening of the gloves tightly with a clip or rubber band.

STEP 3. Shake the rubber gloves

Then shake them well so that the bubbles can form. Make sure the water doesn’t spill out if you didn’t tie them properly! Once you’ve shaken them enough, drain the water.

STEP 4. Clean the outside as well

Once you’ve drained the water from the bacteria-filled rubber gloves, you’ll probably smell the fragrant hand soap inside. But we can’t stop here, can we? Now we’re going to clean the outside too!

Fill the sink with water so that the rubber gloves are submerged, pump some hand soap, and let them soak for about 10 minutes.

STEP 5. Rinse and dry thoroughly

Now rinse them with clean water and dry them so that not a single drop of water remains on the rubber gloves. Make sure to dry them in a well-ventilated place~

There’s another method besides this one, and it’s also easy. It’s not about cleaning, but about managing rubber gloves~ Let’s find out about a method that helps with both rubber glove management and odor removal!

Materials needed: Rubber gloves, ziplock bag, flour

You can remove the smell with just a ziplock bag and flour. It’s important to clean the rubber gloves, but it’s also really important to manage them regularly.

First, put the rubber gloves in the ziplock bag and add flour. About 2 tablespoons of flour should be enough.

The starch in the flour is said to help absorb impurities and remove stubborn stains~

Then, make sure to seal the ziplock bag so that the flour doesn’t spill out! We’re going to shake this too, but it would be too much of a hassle if the flour bursts out.. OMG

After sealing the bag securely, shake it well. You can use it by shaking off the flour when you need to use it.

However, this method might be difficult to continue. You can’t always shake off the flour before use. In that case, keep the gloves with the flour in them, mix warm water and vinegar in an 8:2 ratio, and put them in the ziplock bag!

Shake it vigorously and rinse it clean with warm water, and you’re done with managing your rubber gloves! It’s so simple, but it can eliminate both odor and bacteria, so even if it’s a bit of a hassle, you should take care of it, right?
