A kidney specialist shared the story of a young boy who started dialysis at a very young age.

According to the online media outlet Sanook, kidney specialist Dr. Huang Yongxiang said, “A 12-year-old boy is being treated for chronic kidney disease.”

This 12-year-old boy who started dialysis had chicken fried steak every day after school with the allowance his parents gave him.

Calculations revealed that the student had eaten 200 pieces of chicken fried steak in a year.

He was later diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.

Chronic kidney disease occurs when waste accumulates in the body, and symptoms include persistent fatigue, loss of appetite, and decreased stamina.

Dr. Huang cautioned, “Eating chicken fried steak daily can seriously damage kidney function. It’s high in calories and harmful because it involves reusing old cooking oil.”

“It’s better to avoid foods high in oil, sugar, salt, and calories, including processed foods, as they damage the kidneys,” he added.
