Tesla has become an absolute leader in the electric vehicle market, primarily driven by the popularity of the Model 3 and Model Y. Cybertruck. It generates significant buzz before its launch, with every update drawing considerable attention. However, in the case of Model S and Model X, indifference continues.

It is understood that the two models are not highly preferred because they are in a high price range, and public opinion is absolute that they are sufficiently satisfied with the low-priced models. Tesla also appears to be aware of this trend, and in particular, in the case of the Model S, there has been no significant news since the facelift eight years ago. However, a new rendering has recently appeared and is about to become the center of attention again.

Tesla Model S was popular
Wake up from indifference

When launched in 2012, Tesla’s large sedan and electric fastback, Model S, received much attention for its outstanding performance and design. It received high praise from the industry, being heralded as a pivotal development in electric vehicles, named the best car of the year, and listed among the 100 great designs of today. Additionally, it claimed the top spot in the large sedan market in the U.S.

Despite its initial success, the Model S has received less attention than other Tesla models. This has been the case since its last major update eight years ago. During this period, there have been jokes about whether Tesla has “forgotten” about the Model S. Amidst this backdrop, a designer’s rendering of the second-generation Model S is now generating buzz and capturing the public’s interest.

Rendering Based on BMW Showcases Futuristic Front Design

The recently unveiled rendering of the second-generation Tesla Model S takes inspiration from the 2018 BMW M8 Gran Coupe concept. It features the most sensuous body among the four-door models, and even though it was built based on a model from another company, it is evaluated as blending in well without any awkward parts.

In terms of overall style, minimalism, a common feature of the Tesla lineup, was emphasized. Also, in the case of design, the ratio variation based on Model 3 is becoming the basis. The most notable feature is the headlight, which has an angular shape to complement the lower part of the Model S, and some say it is similar to the Ferrari Purosangue.

Although the Model S continues to receive favorable reviews
Sales and interest are low

The rear part resembles the Model 3, and the lobster claw taillights have been modified to match the Model S. Although this rendering was based on BMW’s BMW concept from six years ago, it is receiving rave reviews for its cohesive design and composition.

However, Tesla has not yet mentioned the second-generation Model S. The company’s interest is in Model 3 and Model Y, which account for most of Tesla’s total sales Y, and Model 3 accounted for 95.6% of Tesla’s total sales accounted for 4.4%.
