Top 6 Fastest Cars on Earth: 3rd Zenvo Aurora, 2nd SSC Tuatara and 1st Place Goes to…

What are the 6 types of super-fast vehicles?

The Supercar Zenvo Aurora

The development of the global automobile industry and the improving standards of consumers are gradually raising the standards for high-performance automobiles. Many factors determine a high-performance vehicle, but the most representative factor is acceleration. If you think about the original reason for the existence of automobiles as a means of transportation, doesn’t it make sense to take away acceleration?

Acceleration interests and challenges most automobile brands. Here are the models that proudly took the top spot in these areas. This time, we will examine six types of ultra-fast vehicles on the market and their performance levels.

1st place: Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+
2nd place: SSC Tuatara

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ was selected as the fastest car in the world. Like the Veyron Super Sports, this model, produced in a limited edition of 30 customized vehicles, recorded an astonishing speed of 490 km/h (304.5 mph) at the Ehra-Lessien test track. It is also known to be equipped with a quad-turbocharger W16 engine nicknamed Thor, producing a whopping 1,578 horsepower.

The model that took second place was the SSC Tuatara, which is said to have generated a speed of 532 km/h (330.6 mph). However, in the case of the record, the accuracy of the record was disputed, and due to belated recognition, the existing record of 474 km/h (294.5 mph) is now known as the official top speed. The powertrain is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 5.9L V8 engine and can produce 1,750 horsepower when running on E85 bio-ethanol fuel.

3rd place: Zenvo Aurora
4th place: Koenigsegg Agera RS

Zenvo Aurora, a quad-turbocharged V12 hypercar boasting 1850 horsepower through three electric motors, can reach a speed of 450 km/h (279.6 mph). This model is superior to the maximum speed in reaching time, taking 2.3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standstill and about 10 seconds to reach 300 km/h (186 mph).

The ultra-luxurious and ultra-high-performance Koenigsegg model, which costs about $1.45 million for the cheapest model, was also proudly named on this list. The model is the Agera RS, measured after driving about 17 km (10.6 miles) of a US highway, and is known to have boasted a speed of 447 km/h (277.8 mph). As for the powertrain configuration, a 1MW engine package is provided as an option, with a tremendous performance of 1360 horsepower.

5th place: Hennessey Lotus Venom F5
9th place: Rimac Nevera

Unlike previous models based on the Lotus Exige, the Hennessy Venom F5, which has a speed of 437 km/h (271.5 mph), was built from the beginning as a custom vehicle. Equipped with carbon fiber tubes and a twin-turbocharger 6.6L V8, the F5 exhibits a monster output of 1817 horsepower and a powerful torque of 164.9 kg.m, and it takes only 15.5 seconds to reach 400 km/h (248.5 mph) from a standstill. The company promises a speed of 548 km/h (340.5 mph) in the future and is looking forward to it.

The previous models are ranked from 1st to 5th, but as the last model, we would like to introduce the 9th place model, Rimac Nevera, which has a speed of 415 km/h (257.9 mph). The surprising thing about this model, which ranks second among the world’s fastest electric vehicles, is its reverse acceleration of 275 km/h (170.9 mph). This is the fastest among mass-produced vehicles and is said to be superior to the forward speed of the Porsche Taycan or Tesla Model S.
