Camping popularity continues
Preference, regardless of generation
Interest in camper vans is increasing

The camping boom during COVID-19 has significantly increased the number of campsites nationwide. The number of campsites has also increased as camping and vehicle camping have become more popular than indoor activities due to social distancing. Regardless of generation, many people want to drive a vehicle and enjoy leisurely time in a quiet place.

The camper van boom that began during the coronavirus pandemic has tapered off, yet new competitors continue to enter the market. One of these newcomers is War Horse All Terrain, an ultra-premium camper van manufacturer based in Florida, US.

Decent specifications and equipped with various amenities

War Horse’s camper van is based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. According to War Horse, the van is equipped with a standard 170-horsepower turbo diesel inline four-cylinder engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, it is equipped with the optional 4 Matic all-wheel-drive system and is available with a standard 144-inch wheelbase or an optional 170-inch wheelbase Sprinter.

The damping is handled by an aftermarket suspension kit and a 2-inch lift from Agile Off-Road, and 35-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler All-Terrain tires are installed. The modified version is equipped with a more powerful air conditioning unit, water heater, clothes dryer, underfloor heating, fresh water, and return/wastewater storage. A kitchenette, toilet, and shower facility have also been installed.

Detailed options attract attention
Of course, there are drawbacks

To purchase a vehicle, you must first select the size. Then, you can go to the build section of the War Horse website to select interior customization options, including wheel size and wrap color, stone for the kitchen and bathrooms, and wood for the floors and cabinets.

According to War Horse’s website, up to four people can sleep in one camper van. But realistically, about two people seems appropriate. A foldable queen-size bed is on the ceiling, and a twin mattress space below can accommodate two children or one adult. Using premium materials such as stone and hardwood is luxurious, but the bench seat at the van’s rear feels somewhat disappointing.

If the price is a burden
Let’s use it as a reference

There’s one downside to War Horse: the price. War Horse’s camper van is custom-made to order and takes approximately 90 days from order to delivery. The price is expensive, ranging from $250,000 to $300,000. At this price, it is difficult to recommend it as a camper van that will provide a fun weekend for the average family.

Many camper vans are expensive. Therefore, after referring to the detailed details and various amenities of the War Horse’s camper van, you can convert your van into a camper van at a low price by contacting a professional company. When the weather is perfect for outdoor activities, there is no better memory than a weekend camping trip with your family.
