HYBE’s War: Dahn World Hits Back with Denial and Legal Threats

Controversy surrounds HYBE’s alleged ties to a pseudo-religious group.

The Meditation company Dahnworld has denied any association with HYBE.

On the 1st, Dahnworld released a video titled Official Position on the Dahn World HYBE Situation [Trailer] through their official YouTube channel.

In the video, Dahn World stated, “At a time when the truth dispute between the entertainment agency HYBE and Adore’s CEO Min Hee Jin is ongoing, the controversy over the involvement of meditation company Dahn World has unexpectedly emerged.”

They continued, “Dahn World clarifies that these allegations of involvement are completely unfounded and plans to take strong legal action against the indiscriminate spread of fake news that defames Dahn World, obstructs business, and causes economic loss.”

They added, “Many people react to stimulating and intentional false information rather than seeking the truth. All employees and members of Dahn world are suffering significant damage to their personal and corporate images and their business and economic aspects.”

Dahn World also addressed the cult controversy.

They stated, “Dahn world is not unrelated to the founding ideology of Dangun; however, it is not a religion. Dahn World is a national company trying to realize Dangun’s Hongik spirit in this era. We do not tell anyone to believe in anyone.” Lastly, they sincerely hope that “The members of BTS, who graduated from Global Cyber University, do not suffer any harm due to unfounded and false information.” They reiterated, “We once again clarify that Dahn World has no connection with BTS.”

Dahn World further stated in the video description, “We plan to take legal action regarding the unfair controversy that is currently happening. Please stop the reckless, malicious incitement against Dahn World. Reckless comments will be deleted without warning, and legal action will be taken.”

Previously, HYBE was suspected of being involved with Dahn World amid conflicts over attempts to seize control from ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin.
