North Korean authorities have warned that remarks made by Minister of National Defense Shin Won-sik during a visit to a military unit, such as removing enemy leadership, could become a physical clash explosive.

According to the Rodong Sinmun on the 5th, through a commentary titled “The Fragile Fate of South Korea, a Puppet Country, hanging off on the cutting board” by the Korean Central News Agency, they claimed that “The belligerent nonsense of the South Korean military gangsters is increasingly crossing the line.”

The newspaper criticized, “The number of war exercises against the Republic conducted solely by the puppet military villains is still too numerous to enumerate even after conducting combined maritime and aerial training with the U.S. strategic assets, including the U.S. aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson, the nuclear strategic bomber B-1B, Japan’s Aegis destroyers, and fighter jets.”

It further listed, “The 32nd Division’s west coast missile attack training, the 55th Division’s winter training, the 7th Engineer Brigade and the Capital Mechanized Infantry Division’s winter river crossing training, the 1st Marine Division’s comprehensive anti-infiltration training, the 17th Division’s use of high-explosive shells for self-propelled artillery firing, etc.”, adding that “they have gone mad with war.”

Earlier, Minister Shin had urged the soldiers during his visit to the 17th Flighter Wing in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, on the 24th of last month, “If the Kim Jong Un regime makes the worst choice of starting a war, you must become the vanguard that announces the end of the regime by removing the enemy leadership in the shortest time as the invisible force that protects South Korea.”
