An uproar has erupted over a video of a part-time worker at a Japanese Domino’s Pizza kneading pizza dough with his nose pickings.

Multiple Japanese media outlets reported that a video of a Domino’s Pizza employee inserting his finger into his nose and then kneading the dough with the same hand went viral on X (Former Twitter) on the 13th.

The part-time employee reportedly filmed the video at the Amagasaki store in Hyogo Prefecture after business hours, around 2 a.m. on the 12th.

As the video spread far and wide, Domino’s Pizza responded via their official SNS, stating, “The man in the video is a part-time employee at our store in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture.” They explained, “The video was filmed inside the store after business hours, and all the dough at that time has been discarded and unused.”

They continued, “We plan to take strict action against the part-time employee who filmed the video according to our employment rules, and we are also considering legal action,” they emphasized.

In Japan, videos known as “part-time job terror (Japanese byte terror)” capturing scenes of pranks with food are on the rise.
