Hamas Teaches Palestinian Children ‘How to Kill People’

The Israeli military has claimed that the Palestinian armed terrorist group Hamas is training Palestinian children in killing techniques and pushing them into the battlefield.

According to the Israeli media Jerusalem Post (JP), the Israeli military has collected a lot of evidence that Hamas has mobilized children in war in the southern city of Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip. They released photos of children and teenagers armed with automatic weapons and rocket-propelled grenades. The photos presumably taken at Hamas’s military training camp, also include children learning how to control tanks and pointing guns at each other.

The Israeli military said, “There are circumstances in which minors are involved in terrorist activities,” and “The collected photos and videos include scenes of children carrying bombs in vegetable bags to other places under the direction of Hamas members and practicing shooting at schools and other places.”

They also stated, “About 170 minors are involved in terrorist activities with Hamas and another armed faction, Islamic Jihad. Hamas members have been brainwashing them with hatred for Israel,” and “Young children are currently using firearms, memorizing the tunnel structure of Hamas and learning how to hijack tanks and civilians.”

JP reported, “Mobilizing minors under 15 in war is a clear violation of international law and a war crime,” and “There are testimonies that hundreds of thousands of children have received such education during the 16 years of Hamas’s rule, and children swear allegiance to Hamas or another armed force, Islamic Jihad, even before they reach adulthood.”
