Russia has once again attacked Ukraine with North Korean ballistic missiles.

On the 9th (local time), John Kirby the Strategic Communications Coordinator of the White House National Security Council (NSC) revealed in a briefing that Russia had also fired several North Korean-provided ballistic missiles at Ukraine on the 6th.

He explained that at least one fell in Kharkiv southeastern Ukraine, as they were assessing the impact of Russia’s missile attacks.

Coordinator Kirby condemned the transfer of ballistic missiles between North Korea and Russia as a violation of multiple UN Security Council resolutions and announced plans to raise the issue of the North Korea-Russia arms trade with allies and partners at the UN Security Council on the 10th.

He also urged Congress to process additional security budget proposals stating that the most effective way to respond to Russia’s missile and drone attacks is to support Ukraine with military equipment necessary for defense such as anti-aircraft weapons.

Previously, it was reported that Russia had also attacked Ukraine with North Korean ballistic missiles on the 30th of last month and the 2nd of this month.
