A two-year-old German boy known as “pint-sized Picasso” is making headlines.

According to The New York Post, Laurent Schwartz recently attracted attention for showing interest in art activities during a family trip in 2023.

In response, Laurent’s parents set up an art studio where he could create artwork, and the young boy, only two years old, covered himself in paint and filled the canvas with vibrant colors.

Afterward, an Instagram account showcasing Laurent’s artistic activities was opened due to the child’s exceptional talent, and it quickly garnered over 39,000 followers.

With a growing fan base, Laurent was dubbed the Little Picasso, sparking interest from those eager to purchase his artworks.

As a result, Laurent created 21 pieces of art in the first half of this year, 19 of which sold for an average price of $7,000.

Some pieces even sold for as much as $10,000.

The artworks of this boy with extraordinary talent have already been exhibited at Art Muc, Munich’s largest art event. They are reportedly being considered for exhibition at a gallery in New York.

Laurent’s mother stated, “The money is all sitting in a bank account that he won’t have access to until he turns 18.”

“If he no longer wants to paint, that will end. The Instagram account will also be deleted,” she added.

She explained that Laurent’s decisions about what and when to paint are entirely spontaneous. Sometimes, he might paint twice in one day, while at other times, he might not visit his studio for over a month.
